Obama’s choice of Clinton for this position is not viewed by Wordtodawise as a very wise choice.

Under no circumstance should Hillary Clinton be the next Secretary of State. She is frankly not the right candidate to fill this very important position at this critical moment of our time. Other candidates such as Senator Chuck Hagel and Governor Bill Richardson of New Mexico to name a few come to mind as being better qualified to fill this position.

Hillary Clinton simply lacks the experience and the temperament to handle the important position of Secretary of State. The common believe is that she is going to rely significantly on Bill Clinton and former Secretary Albright to help her navigate the complex world of international politics. Not only is this development disappointing, it is dangerous and will further dampen the enthusiasm of Americans and people around the world who have invested so much hope in the coming Obama administration.

After losing the Democratic nomination, the curtain was closed for Clinton or so Wordtodawise thought. The political demise of Clinton appeared imminent then but today it seems the thought was premature. Now that Obama has lifted Hillary from political coma, Wordtodawise is apprehensive and hopes the curtain doesn’t close on America. It would be a preferred option for Hillary to stay in the senate and continue to do great things for the people of New York.

Wordtodawise firmly believes that Hillary Clinton is not going to serve the best interest of America by being Secretary of State. It is quite clear that Hillary’s foreign policy will be significantly affected by pro Israeli and military industrial complex lobbying groups whose influence will render Hillary ineffective in making the tough decisions. Obama may prescribe the mission but there’s no guarantee that Hillary plus Bill will tow the line.

Middle Eastern politics covering the sphere of Iraq, Iran, Israel and Palestine are the most critical aspects of foreign policy challenges the new administration will face. The successful resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict will define the overall foreign policy achievement of the Obama administration. Any outcomes short of expectations in this area will be viewed as inconsequential and not acceptable by an anxious public.

Solving the Israeli -Palestinian issue will lay the ground work for negotiating with Iran into becoming a willing partner for restoring and maintaining stability in the Middle East and to a larger extent Afghanistan and the Taliban. A compliant Iran will not present a threat to the existence of Israel and the fearful Arab states like the Saudis and others.

Accomplishing the mission of diplomacy in the Middle East requires a statesman (gender inclusive) with extraordinary political and diplomatic skills armed with a singular incorruptible will to engage friends and foes for the common purpose of negotiating a lasting peace.

Judging from Hillary's presidential campaign management incompetence and her previous health care debacle, she is not the person for the SOS job. She simply will not deliver the desired results. It will be great if she proves otherwise.

It's understandable for Obama to reward Hillary for her campaign efforts given the fact that she flaunted 18 million votes as a ransom. The future of America is much too important for this kind of risky political gamble. The decision to nominate Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State is regrettable and will not go down as Obama’s most brilliant move.

Obama should reverse his nomination of Hillary as Secretary of State for the sake of political prudence and national interest. Wordtodawise believes Hillary Clinton will make a great Supreme Court Justice instead and Obama should extend the offer when the time comes. President-elect Obama, please stop and think before you act on this matter or forever regret the decision to make Hillary Clinton Secretary of State.

Obama assassination plot, a sad reality of hate politics

It's not such a shock to learn about the plot to kill Barack Obama by two neo-Nazis. Ashley Todd faked attack and blamed it on a fictitious black man. These crazy bums have drawn their inspiration from the current caustic political atmosphere created by the Republicans.

The McCain and Palin attack ads are working. The vitriolic ads are designed to incite hate and spur ferocious acts against Barack Obama by the screw heads of the party.

The use of Bill Ayers and Jeremiah Wright as prime material for attack ads are sufficient reasons to label McCain and Palin as racist enablers. They can't wiggle their way out of this charge, try as they may

McCain, Palin and the right wing talking heads, the likes of Limbaugh, Hannity, O’Riley and all the lesser clones should bear supreme responsibility if any harm should come to Obama as a result of their blatant use of racism and bigotry to advance political goals. These people are playing with fire and this is not the way it should be.

Fox news by all accounts has been the prime perpetuator of the vile propaganda against Obama. The Fox network while pretending to be a serious news organization operates as a dangerous conduit for modern day racism, religious bigotry and homophobia.

Fox news is the principal mouth piece of the McCain Campaign. This organization has relentlessly attacked Obama by shamelessly associating him with controversial personalities in an attempt to discredit Obama. Let's examine the breakdown of this dirty politics.

The use of Bill Ayers as a terrorist is designed to play upon the sentiments of fear and to challenge Obama's patriotism.

The portrayal of Jeremiah Wright as an anti American is a classic case of race baiting intended to ignite racial conflicts between blacks and whites.

The hint of Obama being remotely associated with Louise Farrakhan is sure to spark the anger of Jews same as being a Muslim and having a middle name Hussein.

The claim that Obama is a close friend of Planned Parenthood is intended to patronize fundamental Christians and Catholics.

The false attack on Acorn is a grand design to energize white voters while providing an excuse for the obvious Republican defeat. There's a brazen attempt to intimidate and disenfranchise black voters as has been the practice until Obama came along.

Linking Obama to Tony Rezko is a desperate attempt by Fox to tag Obama as a corrupt politician.

Dusting the curb web off Frank the Poet (Frank M. Davies) is a pitiful effort to call Obama a communist.

Fox News has used this acrimonious method of hate politics to help McCain win the election. The good news is that there are more good Americans than evil Americans and in the end, good is thumping evil. Long live Obama the next President of the United States.

Hillary Clinton visits Omaha, Nebraska

So Hillary visited Nebraska to make history. This trip can be dismissed as being a simple good will gesture to reward the dedication of the remote out post members of the Dem party. After all, these modest people are donating hard earned cash to the Obama campaign.

In reality, Nebraska is stained with red so thick that no amount of political bleach can alter the hue.

As far as a presidential ticket is concerned, Nebraska will vote for a duck if it's clad in a republican cape. That's just how hopelessly unprogressive the state is. Even the once mighty football Huskers are now kittens to be kicked around. Light will not shine here any time soon.

Truth be told, Rush and Hannity will win the race for Governor in Nebraska even as write-in candidates. These two cons are heroes in NE. Get the point?

For a conservative state, Nebraska is one of the highest taxed states in the nation. The NE economy is largely rural farm, service and retail industries fed by low wage earning exploited unsophisticated mass.

Don't know how much Hillary enjoyed the trip to Nebraska but she has to be muttering unprintable things about Obama on her way home. He concluded without a doubt that Obama is intellectually superior to McCain. He was impressed by how Obama has structured and is running a smooth, effective and highly efficient campaign compared to the pathetically disjointed and ineffective McCain campaign.

Another important consideration for Powell's decision was McCain's poor choice of Sarah Palin for VP. Palin sadly has turned out to be more of a comic relief than a serious VP material. This development is a clear indictment of John McCain's judgment. The man is always wrong.

The likelihood of death due to old age or resurgent cancer for McCain is very real. The thought that this woman Palin plucked from the wilderness of Alaska and equipped only with moose politics and sparse national insight can step in and be president is very disturbing. Say it isn’t so McCain.

One of the most significant reason for Powell’s defection is the fact that the McCain campaign has degenerated into a scum machine defying all codes of decency. McCain’s campaign has been taken over by the evil agents of the extreme right and McCain is too desperate to exercise any moderation. McCain is trapped in a web he can’t escape from. What a terrible price to pay for aligning with demagogues just to win an election.

Supporting Obama, a simple act of honesty and patriotism by Powell has sparked negative reaction laced with racism and bigotry. This reaction underscores the fact that the element of racism is as thick as a London fog in this presidential campaign as much as it is pervasive in mainstream America and her institutions.

This election is going to serve as a barometer to gauge the degree to which American civilization has advanced since the dark days of Jim Crow. The big question is who will rule the day, bigots or decent progressive patriotic American citizens? Time will tell.

George Will should be ashamed of himself for citing race as Powell's motive for supporting Obama. George owes Powell an apology for the undeserved insult. Has George Will accused Joe Liebermann of supporting McCain because McCain is white? What does George Will have to say about the Reagan democrats?

It seems only convenient that race is an issue because Obama, Powell and the black voting block all have one thing in common, their blackness. What a despicable hypocrisy. Isn’t it time to embrace positive change? It will be good medicine for America.

Pat Buchanan echoes the same negative racial sentiments he has been known for over the years. How can Pat question the integrity of Powell more so the qualification of Obama? Pat failed in his bid to be president. He lacked the skill and savvy to run a successful presidential campaign. Pat should bow down and salute Obama rather than raise doubts about Obama’s experience.

Rush Limbaugh is in character and his racist comment was hardly a surprise. Rush is an ill conceived, ill bred and an irredeemable bigot. Sure Rush is rich but he is still a filthy pig.

Wordtodawise is certain that Obama will be elected president of the United States. The stakes are too high to risk another four years of George Bush impersonated by McCain or Palin.

Jeremiah Wright, the conscience that keeps ticking

Sean Hannity, the right wing propagandist mouth piece, a loathsome and evil fellow, worked hard to launch Jeremiah Wright as Obama's version of the swift boat attack scheme.

It's quite clear what the overall strategy of the Jeremiah Wright plot is all about. Having observed that Barack Obama is a formidable candidate on the brink of demolishing the vaunted Clinton political machine, the right wing republican operatives have kicked off vicious personal attacks against Obama in order to weaken and destroy him.

Guilt by association is the obvious tactics being employed by the right wing and neo-con operatives. The idea is to invoke racial hatred and incite the anger of the fragile independent white voters to turn against Obama the black candidate.

Choosing Jeremiah Wright as the bait for the hate Obama campaign is a grievious mistake because Jeremiah Wright is a brilliant, fearless and combative preacher with a mission to remain the conscience of America that keeps on ticking.

Jeremiah Wright is being demonized for telling the truth about the ills of American foreign and domestic policies that have brought great harm to the country. The future security and economic prosperity of America is in serious danger if things don't change in the positive direction.

Attacking Jeremiah Wright to get to Obama will backfire. The reverend Wright will not be silenced. He will continue to tell the bitter truth that will continue to prick the conscience of a nation entrapped by ignorance and apathy and lead by a bunch of reckless, mindless and corrupt politicians.

The Obama campaign is worried sick and wish that the reverend Wright disappears into dark matter. This is wrong thinking. That's what the right wing republicans want. They want to be able to spin the issue without contest and force Obama to be on the defensive.

The best way to counter the republican onslaught is to go on a full scale counter offensive. Turn the reverend loose and let him keep delivering his message to the people. The republicans don’t want the reality of their failed policy to be pronounced so vigorously as only the reverend can.

What the Obama camp can't do is to play weak on any game the opponents present. Obama is in a position of strength and he should drive his adversaries into the earth. Don't dump the reverend. Is there any priority greater than that at this time for Obama?

As hard as Obama has tried to convince people that he isn't doing things the same old way, some folks like you my friend still don't get it. Obama is hunting for an elephant and can't afford to stop and throw stones at small animals. This is an old African adage and you sir Cornel West may want to add this to your wisdom pouch. It's important to note that my comment by no means diminishes the

Dr King is now a living legend and his memory will be celebrated every year for as long as America exists but Obama has just one shot at the opportunity of being elected president. I'm sure Dr King would approve of his judgment of tending to the important business of being in Indiana and not be distracted by the opportunistic display of reference.

I will not disparage Hillary Clinton and John McCain for being in Memphis to honor Dr King. They are doing what is politically expedient for them. It's worthy of note that John McCain voted against the King Holiday. I commend him for his apology for finally seeing the light. He needed to cleanse his soul and that's acceptable.

Hillary Clinton needed to be in Memphis to salvage the damage her campaign has inflicted upon black race relations. Thanks to Bill and Carville for employing cut throat win at all cost tactics?

My words of wisdom to all black leaders elected or not, intellectuals and clergies alike are to refrain from misguided criticism of Barack Obama and to stop acting in ways that would destroy his chances of being elected president. If these leaders can't help, they should get out of the way.

The thing that is encouraging though is that the black populace is wise to something. They have realized the short comings of their black leadership and are now signing on to the new vision and hope presented by Barack Obama.

Barack Obama, an equal opportunity candidate

It's obvious that Obama is not white enough and certainly not black enough. He presents himself however as an equal opportunity candidate and the beacon of hope for a united America.

There's a piece of him for the white color conscious voter and a piece of him for the black color conscious voter. Then there’s the whole of him for the color blind liberated rational voter. It would be nice if race was not a factor, but let's not kid ourselves; race is alive and well and the Clintons are exploiting it shamelessly.

For the first time, African-Americans are presented with a candidate who shares their heritage and who also has a legitimate chance to be nominated and eventually elected president of the United States.

Obama is specially gifted and when contrasted head to head with Hillary is far superior both in judgment, character, temperament and intellectual prowess. He also has sufficient relevant experience and vision to make good decisions where Hillary has been opportunistic and has failed on critical issues like voting for the war and mismanaging the national health insurance project in the White House with Bill Clinton.

It appears that Blacks are split and indecisive about their choice between Obama and Hillary. The tag teams of Bill and Hillary Clinton have mounted a serious negative campaign to diminish the stature of Obama. They have introduced the race and gender cards in an effort to bait and destroy him. They seem to be succeeding with a certain class of people.

Blacks should not allow themselves to be manipulated by the Clintons or their surrogates. They should free themselves from mental slavery and exercise wisdom by giving Obama victory not because he is black but because he is more qualified to lead the nation. They should reject any attempts by the so called Black leaders who may try to persuade them from doing the right thing.

By voting for Obama, Blacks can help the nation by defeating the Clinton machine who if allowed back in the white house will engage this country in an endless divisive internal strife with ugly consequences. It’s time for a positive change and African Americans can contribute significantly.

It’s also time for Blacks to divorce themselves from their stagnant visionless leadership and pave a new path to freedom and prosperity by aligning with the movement for change we can believe in according to Obama.

Wordtodawise

Stop the war, Democrats can't do

What war? This is not war. Somebody aptly called it "Bumper sticker war" and indeed, that's what it is.

To call the Iraq escapade a war is a mockery of the highest order and an assault upon our collective intelligence.

There are lots to be gained from this military adventure namely, money, power and influence.

Those who profit from the spoils of this adventure are the privileged few found along the corridors of politics in Washington and corporate boardrooms across the globe.

Just as well, there are losers as a result of this misadventure. Losers are the soldiers who continue to lose their lives and limbs and their families and friends who pay the ultimate price.

Losers are the tens of thousands of innocent Iraqis who die without a cause other than being the unfortunate victims of circumstances thrust upon them by the cruel hands of fate.

Losers are the American people who continue to work hard to build fortunes that are squandered without accountability.

Losers are Americans whose quest for national resources to invest in their future education, health care, infra structure and economy are considered entitlements slated to be chopped by pandering politicians.

Losers are Americans who continue to be stripped of their liberties in exchange for security that can't be guaranteed.

Losers are Americans who continue to live in fear of a bearded monster that can not be sighted, ensnared nor silenced.

Losers are Americans who vote to effect change only to be disregarded as hapless morons with chips they are bound to cast without the benefit of a return on their investment.

With all things considered, what incentives are there to stop this "war"? So long as winners continue to win and losers continue to lose and there is no shift in the balance of power, the status quo will remain.

So, ask your leading candidates for president what they can do for you and not what you can do to give them power.

If a candidate ever voted to put you in the loser column by voting for the Iraq war, remember that as you cast your vote. Her earlier attitude was that of supreme confidence bordering on a twinge of guarded arrogance.

To emphasize strength during the debates, Hillary stated that she was not being attacked because she was a woman but only because she was winning.

Hillary also stated that she won't attack other democratic candidates but would rather direct her attacks towards GWB and the republicans.

Hillary claims that she is more electable because she has been tried, tested, proven and stamped ready to be president.

Since then, Hillary's confidence meter has plummeted. She is now feeling the impact of the formidable Obama change movement. Things are happening fast and fear has struck the Clinton flag ship. By observing poll numbers in New Hampshire, the panic button was pushed and the distress alarm went off like this.

SOS to all women and sympathizers, I am in troubled waters and my ship has struck a rock. Water is boarding ship and I am sinking fast. Please dispatch rescue teams on the double to save me from instant doom. Please save my White House dream.

With a cleverly set stage, a planted person and a pre crafted question, Hillary performed and shed the mystery tears that to a great extent changed the dynamics of the New Hampshire primary.

The end result of this girly drama of course was a victory for Hillary Clinton. Under other circumstances, the tear drama could have passed as brilliant but since this race is to elect a president, the act was lamentable.

In the days leading to the primary, the tag team of Bill and Hillary launched a massive campaign, whining and complaining about bad press coverage and favoritism towards Obama. They marginalized Martin Luther King; race baited Obama and used the female card.

Given these events, it’s becoming crystal clear that Obama is the superior candidate for the job of president. Please Hillary, don’t tears me sis.

Three war ships and five speed boats, a dangerous encounter

Three war ships and five speed boats, a dangerous encounter of cats and mice in the Persian gulf. What's up? Is the US ready to escalate military activities against Iran? Who's got a clue?

This speed boat exercise was a demonstration by the Iranian revolutionary guard showing how they will intercept and attack the U.S. Navy in the Persian Gulf. The white objects dropped in the water were simulated attack runs and the delivery of missiles and torpedoes. Remember the PT boats of WW II? There may be a different level of sophisticated weapondry but the tactics remain the same. In the end, things will explode in a big way.

The Persian Gulf presents a great risk to large U.S. and allied war vessels due to limited maneuverability through the narrow water passage ways. The proximity of Iranian land stations make surprise attacks by enemy speed boats very likely. The potential for successful strikes and heavy casualties against allied vessels can't be dismissed with callous arrogance. This encounter is very serious business. Are we ready for action? Remember the British sailors?

Hillary vs Obama, change trumps bad experience

This writer predicted the outcome of the Iowa democratic caucus with unabashed boldness, Obama to win, Edward to place and Clinton to show. It happened just as predicted because the hand writing was on the wall and it was clear enough for all the wise to see.

The Obama phenomenon is very inspiring and it provides sufficient impetus for Americans to be audacious and hopeful just like the man says.

What now New Hampshire?

This awesome Obama force that was unleashed in Iowa is going to gain momentum like the rush of an atomic blast that will sweep across this nation with unimaginable impact on the political, social and economic landscape of America and indeed the world.

There is no doubt, the Obama success in Iowa is going to be repeated in New Hampshire with the same impressive margin of victory and a decisive demolition of the vaunted Clinton machine. The people of New Hampshire like Iowans are going to show clarity of purpose and reasoning by choosing Obama over Hillary.

The Clintons represent the old and corroded institutions that have long since ceased to serve the best interest of America. It is not surprising that the message of hope and change so eloquently expressed by Obama is resonating so well amongst the afflicted and anxious masses.

Obama is the elegant, energetic and persuasive flag bearer of this new vision and has started the wave that will be almost impossible to arrest. Any one who stands in the way of this wave will be swept into obscurity and Hillary is feeling the punch.

Observe that all the candidates including the republicans are now echoing the substance of the Obama message of hope and change. This is a good thing and it also proves without a doubt, that Obama is an effective change driver. Obama while methodically dismantling the old guard is now setting new rules and performance standards for the other candidates of both parties to emulate. This is a stroke of genius.

Now, how's that for a candidate who is said to lack vital presidential experience? For those still unconvinced that Obama's superior ability trumps the superficial experience of Hillary and others, please stand back and watch a master at work. In the end, please vote for Obama in spite of yourself and invest in the future of America.

The Clintons have been around the block for a while and now the time has come to pass the torch of leadership to a new generation championed by Obama. The tide is changing, yesterday it was Iowa, today it's New Hampshire and tomorrow it will be South Carolina and then Super Tuesday. Good bye Hillary and welcome Obama. Long live America.

Obama vs Hillary

Only days before the Iowa primary, Obama, Hillary and Edwards are running neck and neck on the stretch to the finish line. As a betting observer, I put my money on Obama to win, Edward to place and Hillary to show.

The campaign rhetoric has been hot and negative mostly from the Hillary camp. The lady was dubbed the inevitable candidate to win the democratic nomination by a partial and manipulative media influenced by the Clinton political machine. The Des Moines Register is an example. Every body would have swallowed the propaganda, matched along like sheep, just waited in the end to crown her majesty Hillary the president except, Barack Obama and the smart people of Iowa have something to say about it.

This race has come down to Hillary vs. Obama and it presents a serious challenge to the American voters starting with the Iowa primary. The dilemma facing voters is the choice between a fresh thinking and capable leader Barack Obama and a crafty and divisive political opportunist Hillary Clinton. Let's examine the two candidates carefully before casting the critical vote to turn this country around or continue in the path of national suicide.

Barack Obama is a very fine presidential specimen. He is highly intelligent, intuitive, eloquent, charismatic and inspirational. He has methodically crafted himself, guided by great vision and inner strength into a very successful family man and influential politician. In a word, he is a great achiever.

Contrast Obama to Hillary Clinton and the difference is quite remarkable. Hillary simply doesn't posses the endearing qualities of Obama. She has ridden the coat tail of Bill Clinton to political stardom. Much has been made of her experience but this claim is weak considering that Hillary was no VP nor did she hold any political position in the White house.

Hillary flunked the only meaningful healthcare assignment that Bill gave her. She voted for the war in Iraq, and then supported the dumb declaration of the revolutionary guard of Iran as terrorist. She said we are safer now but not safe enough. She said she would not communicate with the leaders of the three axis of evil thus planning to maintain the failed Bush doctrine. It’s ironic that she has supported critical bush positions yet is a very vocal critic. Such opportunism reflects a very serious character flaw.

Hillary's report card is full of failures even without going into her personal life, something republicans delight in. This writer loathes that tactic and deplores it. Now, would you trust the judgment of Hillary Clinton as your leader if your money and life depended on it? The obvious answer is no. So, why should she be president of the United States?

Obama and Hillary should be judged by their performance in this campaign. Hillary started on third base, backed by an ex president and the full weight of special interest groups and their media. Obama started at first base and is now on third base while Hillary panics and sweats and we all see it.

Obama has clearly demonstrated superior organization, management and political skills. What better credentials can there be to qualify for the job of being president. No body from history has presidential experience because they never occupied the office prior to being elected. They are elected president because voters speculate on their strengths, character, likeability and fit.

About the issue of experience, no democrat should be elected to the White House simply because they have the experience of beating off miserable republicans in personal wars. The country has no need for such divisive encounters. If Hillary was nominated and became president, the country will be rocked with furious political and social wars and nothing will be accomplished in the next four pitiful years.

This is the time for real change and Barack Obama is the real deal. A vote for Hillary will be the third coming of George W Bush. No, please no, spare the nation the agony and the horror. Keep the Clintons away from the White House.

Exit Rosie O'Donnell, enter who? $20mill question

Exit Star Jones, enter Rosie O’Donnell, exit Rosie, and enter who? This is the 20 million dollar question.

Before Rosie sat on the view's musical chair, the show was just another dull garden variety chart show with little to offer in the form of real social and political views; how ironic?.

Along came Rosie, who sparked life into the show, offering thought provoking views on subject matters that viewers found very interesting and relevant.

Rosie was bold and courageous enough to speak the forbidden truths. She took the show to a level beyond the mental capacity of her shy and conservative co hosts.

She attracted a large audience and boosted ratings. She stirred the imagination and made people happy for once because finally, the prevailing propaganda network of the right wing Republican Party and the White House were challenged on prime time.

Of course, such bravado couldn't continue unchecked. The right wing propaganda machine got spooked and turned their media hound dogs to relentlessly attack abc and Disney.

Sadly, abc and Disney capitulated and turned out the light on Rosie and the followers of truth. Furthermore, his action will adversely disrupt the serious business of electing a democrat as president.

Upon reflection, Gore made crucial political miscalculations which gave George Bush the keys to the White House, the outcome of which is the worst thing that could ever happen to America. Now, let’s count the ways Gore messed up.

First, he chose Joe Lieberman as his VP running mate, a terrible idea and clearly an indictment of Gore's judgment. It’s evident that he caved under the pressure of AIPAC. Look what havoc old Joe Lieberman is inflicting on the ability of Democrats to effect positive change in the senate. Dare I continue?

Second, Gore distanced himself from Bill Clinton, an act that greatly diminished his effectiveness in presenting the successful accomplishments of the goals of their administration.

In essence, Gore threw away his report card while interviewing for the job of becoming president, an unforgivable act of reckless arrogance and ignorance.

Third, Gore lacked consistent poise in his public pronouncements and demeanor. The debates were particularly disappointing and certainly did not inspire enduring mass appeal. Not good if you run a tight presidential race.

Fourth, Gore was too lame with his handling of the Florida ballot rigging job. He didn't show enough zeal in fighting for the right to count and recount the pregnant chards until they bore vote babies. He let the masses down and the memory is still very fresh.

Fifth, Gore lost to George W Bush. How could he? That in itself is good enough reason why he shouldn't run for president.

Sixth, America needs a new face of politics, a refreshing and reassuring candidate who will restore our lost glory and lead America to a new greatness. The man is Barack Obama.

So there you have it, six good reasons why Al Gore shouldn't run for president.

Wordtodawise

Ex President Carter is right about Bush

It's better to express the truth while alive than to echo it from the grave. President Carter shouldn't defend his remark that states the obvious, that the Bush administration is the worst in history. Without a doubt, it's the worst.

Carter's frank attitude is much preferred to the tortured silence of President Ford who went to his grave with a load of guilt on his mind. Just how low must the United States sink before real patriotism steps ahead of blind loyalty?

There's no greater deed a statesman can render to his country than to express the truth that will free it from the clutches of evil and destruction. As hard as people may try, truth is an element that can't be suppressed for ever. So Mr Carter please speak, the nation hears you.

Obama, Best choice for President 2008

Obama for president, 2008

So much has been said about the reasons for going to war in Iraq. It is now as clear as day that none of the reasons given were true. It can be stated without fear of prejudice that the whole thing was an outright fabrication given all the facts that have now come to light.

Enter the 2008 presidential elections. With one swipe of the hand, all republican candidates are disqualified. As a matter of national and global interest, no republican should be allowed near the White House in a hundred years because that’s how many years that party has set civilization back. Attention now turns to the democrats

If the outcome of the Iraq invasion and occupation was not so tragic, it would be laughable to think that all members of congress who voted to start military intrusion into Iraq were deceived by the bush administration.

Far from it, all those who voted for the war including Clinton, Biden, Edward and Dodd knew what they were doing. They took a calculated political risk in part to deflect criticism of apparent weakness in matters of national defense. The other profound reason was to fulfill their obligation to special interest groups like the Neo-cons whose agenda is counter to real American interest. Think about it deeply.

All the candidates who are now prostrating at the altar of empty regrets should be held accountable just as George Bush and his cronies. These presidential hopefuls should not be rewarded for their lack of vision and leadership at the critical moment when supreme judgment and courage were demanded.

Obama is the man for president. After all, what he saw sitting down in the valley, others couldn’t see standing atop the hill.

What other test of leadership can there be other than the ability to make sound decisions using instinctive judgment in the face of uncertainty. Obama passed this test while the other candidates failed.

All those politicians who favored the disastrous incursion into Iraq should be held accountable because they failed in their duty as leaders to protect the vital interests of America namely our freedom, pride, treasure and national security. Why should these people be trusted to lead now?

A strong case can be made for Obama to be president because he has already demonstrated presidential capabilities which include strong vision, superior intellect, political savvy, courage, successful professional career, uncluttered personal life and a great natural charm.

These qualities far out weigh the so called years of experience touted by the other candidates. What do they have to show for their experience? Can they explain why we are in such a mess today given their vast experience?

Not another word about being deceived by George Bush. Please, drop the self serving talk and make way for Obama, the next president of the United States.

Wordtodawise
